Dear Incoming Students,

We want to first welcome you to Cal Poly! Give yourself a pat on the back as you have graduated (or are about to) high school, and are about to embark on a new chapter of your life. We hope to not only provide fun memories, but also educate and help you discover what aspects of college life there are, and which ones are meant for you. The “college experience” is different for everyone, so it is important to find out what kind of person you are. There is a tremendous amount of planning behind Polycultural Weekend, and it is so that you students can have a great time while learning a lot about college life.
